COUTURE DETAILS

• The silk blossoms and lace flowers and leaves adorning the cape are created entirely by hand in our Vermont, USA, studio using couture lacemaking, embroidery, and vintage millinery techniques

• The flowers and leaves are embroidered with a mix of vintage crystals and Swarovski pearls

• The leaves and flower petals are wired throughout, allowing them to be gently shaped and formed to the body

• Silk organza is dyed by hand and stitched to form the small blush pink flower buds sprinkled throughout the design

• The cape’s embellishment is sewn to a flexible silk ribbon band at the neckline

• The design fastens with two silk ribbon ties adorned on either side with small lace roses. The ribbon ties and roses can be adjusted to change the look of the cape, from fastening at the the neck, to worn off the shoulders

• The crystals embellishing the cape are vintage and date over 50 years old, instantly adding the traditional "something old" to your wedding ensemble
