When Colleen Bankovich, the talented designer of Kata Banko Couture, recently reached out about including some of my designs in an upcoming look book shoot for her brand, I jumped at the opportunity. I've been a fan of Colleen's bohemian-but-sophisticated line of headpieces, gowns, and veils for some time, and love that, like me, she handcrafts everything in her US-based studio using couture techniques.
Here are some highlights of the photo shoot for her 2016 Bridal Accessory and Gown Collection, featuring a selection of Edera Jewelry designs and gorgeous photos by La Candella Weddings.

COUTURE DETAILS
The bracelet is adorned with lace motifs created entirely by hand in our studio using traditional lacemaking techniques and luxe real metal threads
An emerald-cut crystal forms the focal point of the design. It is set in an oval frame of intricate handcrafted lace and edged with petite freshwater seed pearls
Hand-wired sprigs of faceted silver seed beads and tiny lace flowers frame the oval, tapering into pure silk ribbon ties that fashion into a luxurious bow when worn.
The Swarovski crystals embellishing the design are vintage and date over 50 years old, instantly adding the traditional "something old" to your wedding ensemble
