Romantic Ballet-Inspired Wedding Editorial with Intricate Bridal Tiaras
I’m so excited to share this elegant bridal editorial whose styling is both on point--and en pointe!
Morgan Taylor Artistry, AMV Weddings, and Elephant Limbo drew inspiration for the photoshoot in part from the iconic series of ballerina paintings by Degas, selecting professional dancers for the roles of bride and groom. The historic Glen Foerd Mansion in Philadelphia provided the opulent backdrop for the project.
Nayara Lopes, principal dancer at the Philadelphia Ballet, wears Edera Jewelry Hyacinthe and Siena Tiaras, and the Verona Juliet Cap Veil. These heirloom-quality bridal headpieces are adorned with our signature, handcrafted lace motifs, as well as freshwater pearls and vintage crystals.
The romantic gowns provided by Barbara Kavchok Bridal bring to mind tutus with their frothy layers of tulle and hints of blush pink.
Luxury stationery by Elephant Limbo and lush floral designs from Whisper & Brook Flower C. complete the elegant effect.

The lace flowers and leaves adorning the tiara are created entirely by hand in our Vermont, USA, studio using couture lacemaking and embroidery techniques
Dozens of hand-wired leaves and sprigs in shades of white, crystal, and ivory add a hint of shimmering texture to the headpiece
The small lace flowers sprinkled throughout the design are hand-embroidered with ivory silk threads, while accents of creamrose Swarovski pearls are woven throughout
The headpiece is set on a flexible metal headband for an adjustable and comfortable fit
The glass seed and bugle beads embellishing the design are vintage and date over 50 years old, instantly adding the traditional "something old" to your wedding ensemble

A lush double garland of lace flowers, beaded leaves, and freshwater pearl sprigs blooms on this vintage-inspired Juliet cap veil. Named for the setting of one of the most famous love stories of all time, the Verona cap is an utterly romantic design combining an intricate headpiece with a blush-colored veil. Its two-tiered construction means that the top layer of the veil can be worn as a blusher, or folded back for a more traditional Juliet cap silhouette.
